# Recall All

> Return every stored memory for an agent, sorted newest-first.

## Overview

Works like [Recall Recent](/api-reference/search/recall-recent), but isn't limited to `100` results. It returns every matching memory, newest first, up to `5000` unless you set `limit`. The Web UI uses it for the History, Analytics, and connection views.

<RequestExample>
  ```bash cURL theme={null}
  curl -X POST "http://localhost:8000/api/v2/agents/my-agent/recall/all" \
    -H "X-Session-Token: your_session_token" \
    -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
    -d '{}'
  ```
</RequestExample>

<ResponseExample>
  ```json 200 - OK theme={null}
  {
    "agent_id": "my-agent",
    "session_id": "sess_123abc",
    "memories": [
      {
        "id": "3e681f12-a28c-4d1d-9632-b8dadf1f9d0c",
        "title": "Latest Customer Feedback",
        "content": "Customer prefers async communication on Slack.",
        "type": "preference",
        "confidence": 0.9,
        "status": "active",
        "tags": [],
        "created_at": "2026-05-08T18:47:46Z"
      }
    ],
    "count": 1,
    "total_available": 1,
    "temporal_mode": "recent"
  }
  ```
</ResponseExample>

`count` is the number of memories returned. `total_available` is how many matched the filters before `limit` was applied. Memory objects have the same fields as in [Recall Recent](/api-reference/search/recall-recent).
